What is Electronic Compontent?

An electronic component is any basic physical entity or discrete device in an electronic system used to affect electrons or related fields that have a basic isolated device or physical entity. Electronic components are mostly industrial products, which do not confuse with electrical elements and are available in a singular form, which are conceptual abstracts representing ideal electronic components.

Electronic components have a number of electrical leads or terminals. These leads are often connected to other electrical components over a wire to create an electronic circuit with a specific function (for example a radio receiver, amplifier, or oscillator). All Basic electronic types of equipment or components can be packaged in bulk, such as networks or component parts, or integrated into packages such as semiconductor integrated circuits, hybrid integrated circuits, or thick film devices. The following list of electronic components or equipment focuses on discrete versions of these components, treating such packages as components on their own.
